"The renovation of the CSAC's technological and physical infrastructure has served as an occasion for creatively rethinking its layout in such a way as to ensure that the distinction between exhibition galleries, restricted-access spaces dedicated to research and consultation, and archival storage is minimized. As such, the CSAC can now become a site where, rather than being partitioned off from one another, the production of research and new knowledge, archival storage and conservation, and opportunities to experience exhibitions and archival holdings are seamlessly integrated into a whole."
